“Great doc and an all around good person.”
“ I think I own a room at heartland as I have been there so often. I have always found the personnel to be friendly, efficient and professional. Wait times are minimal and I appreciate that. The doctors have always taken the time to explain things and don't seem to be rushing to get rid of you. At heartland, you are not just a number.”
“ They provided me with excellent nursing care and were quick to explain any procedures. Dr. Andrews was friendly and quickly did his job so as to avoid extra discomfort. So far, I am very satisfied and hope the procedure helps my pain for an extensive time frame. The new surgical wing is very nice and comfortable.”

“Good advice and counseling for a bad knee. Appreciate advice to do surgery only when absolutely necessary!”

“He listens to me and explains procedures well. He is also likeable”
“I have lower back problems and have several epidural shots overt the last few years from Dr. Andrews. He is always professional. He is always looking for a way to ease my problem. The staff at the hospital has always been very professional and let you know what is happening. All are very caring people. I have often told people about my outstanding treatment and recommended Heartland, Douglas Co Hospital and Dr. Andrews. Thank you very much.”
“VERY good Doctor with best results I've gotten so far! I appreciate the way he listened and made a decision that gave me relief and possibly a long-term solution.”
“He has been the best since day one wouldn't go to anyone else. Listens and answers my question whether bad or good. Let's me know my options.”
“We followed Dr. Andrews from Fergus Falls. He has provided both my husband and myself with the best medical care we could ask for. In addition, he is very, very pleasant to deal with, and listens to our questions and concerns. I have also seen physician assistant Jared McLister several times for a broken wrist and arthritis issues. He is the very best too. He is so pleasant to deal with, and as with Dr. Andrews, he really listens to our questions and concerns, and definitely knows what he's doing. Dr. Andrews did wonders for my husband's back when we were in Fergus Falls, and his diagnosis regarding my wrist issues. Jared has always treated my pains, and made them go away. We highly recommend Dr. Andrews, Jared, and Heartland Orthopedic Specialists.”
“I am a 66-year-old female who participates in Community Theater almost every summer. This summer, our group presented "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," the musical. The set was a group of platforms, which were variously used as homes, part of the courthouse, levels in the caves, etc. On the first night of production, I tried something I had NEVER done before, and took a short cut between platforms, and had to get rid of an apron. Holding it in my hands, I obscured the reflective tape on a 4' platform and proceeded to take one step too many in the dark! Hairline fracture. Our local clinic wanted me to wear a "half" cast for four to five weeks. After ten days, I was encouraged to seek a second opinion, and went to Heartland Orthopedic Specialists. Because orthopedics is their specialty, their personnel were professional and so knowledgeable. They did not challenge the diagnosis of my local clinic, but suggested that the cast would not be effective long term. I was allowed to dispense with the cast. When I returned for follow up, x-rays showed that the fracture was healing and I was allowed to start adding weight. That was it. I went to a physical therapist. He said that my range of motion was at least 98%, and that it would not be any more effective to use their services. I feel that Heartland Orthopedic Specialists was instrumental in getting me out of the cast and into a normal range of motion sooner than I had expected. As much as a medical procedure can be enjoyable, my experience with Heartland Orthopedic Specialists was! THANKS!”
