Heartland Orthopedic Specialists Celebrates 10th Annual Ortho Night Out
Heartland Orthopedic Specialists and Alomere Health recently hosted an Ortho Night Out on May 25 at the Broadway Ballroom. This event marks the 10th anniversary of the event where over 100 attendees, some traveling as far as over 60-miles, listened to seminars on "Aching Knees" with Dr. Emily Monroe, "Mako® Robotic-Arm Assisted Joint Replacement" with Dr. Dennis Weigel, and "Shoulder Pain and Treatment Options" with Dr. Eric Nelson.
Ortho Night Out was a night for those interested in learning more about our body’s pain referral patterns as well as in joint replacement to meet surgeons, see the replacement options, and learn about the entire treatment process.
"If you had told me 22 years ago that I would be using a robot in my hip and knees I would have told you you were nuts, but it has really provided immense benefits for all of our patients for the improved accuracy that it allows," Weigel said.
