Jefferson C. Brand, M.D.
Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine Specialist, Shoulder & Elbow, Hand & Wrist, Hip, Knee

“I am committed to providing state-of-the-art care to ensure each patient receives care that’s tailored to his or her specific condition.”
As a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, my practice is focused on sports medicine and sports-related injuries. I am dedicated to continuing my medical education and enjoy researching, writing, and presenting on a variety of orthopedic sports medicine topics. In addition, I have given numerous medical presentations and have also been published in leading orthopedic journals. Outside of practice commitments at Heartland Orthopedics, I serve as a visiting professor at the University of Louisville, where I have lectured on surgical techniques in sports medicine and related treatments. As an avid sports enthusiast, I enjoy cycling and sail boarding in my spare time.
